Brandon Mebane, originally from Los Angeles, California, plays defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Chargers. Mebane was a standout athlete at Creshaw High School and recruited by a number of prestigious athletic programs from top universities around the country. Mebane ultimately signed with the California Berkelely Golden Bears. He was a two time All-Pac-Ten player and third team All-American selection.
After graduation, Mebane was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks where he played from 2007 to 2015. In 2014, Mebane helped the team win the Superbowl against the Denver Broncos. In 2016, Mebane signed a three-year contract with the San Diego Chargers. In 2017, the Chargers relocated to Los Angeles.
Mebane is a self-proclaimed family man to his wife and kids, and prides himself on being a leader in the locker room.
