Lightly recruited out of high school, Steve Cishek left his home state of Massachusetts to attend Division II Carson-Newman College in Tennessee where as a pitcher he helped lead the Eagles to a conference championship in 2007. Since that time, Steve’s sinkerball and unique sidearm delivery has found him success in the major leagues as a closer for the Miami Marlins, St. Louis Cardinals,  Seattle Mariners and most recently the Cubs.
